In this episode, I talk with Christian Allen, he is a successful entrepreneur, owner of multiple businesses, author of Money Insights for Physicians, and the Founder and CEO of the strategic wealth building firm, Money Insights. Christian’s team specializes in helping clients understand and implement alternative wealth-building strategies centered around life insurance (and not the type of life insurance you get when you go to your local agent). Q1. We know that the most successful and happy people have a morning routine, what do you do each morning or evening that sets your day up for success? I go to sleep at 9 each night and I get up at 3 am, I spend time on the elliptical and then I meditate, and I start meetings at about 8 am.
Q2. What's your definition of Success? Success is really personal, for me, it’s accomplishing goals that I’ve set.
Q3. What's your definition of Happiness? The word that comes to mind is content. We can’t have the "then I’ll be happy" mindset. For me, it’s learning to be content and enjoy the journey.
Q4. What do you know now that you wish you would have known 10 years ago? I wish I would have spent more time educating myself across the board, in things in general. Taking every opportunity to learn.
Q5. What do you think is the biggest issue facing busy professionals today? Time! Time to educate themselves especially around finances setting themselves up for a financial future.
