In this episode, I talk with Anna Nelson to talk about how to identify your superpower. Anna Nelson is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach with an MBA from Simmons University in Boston who’s using her “zone of genius” to help others discover theirs.

As a business coach and workshop facilitator, she helps entrepreneurs stop trying to be like all the gurus and use their unique superpowers as their best asset so they can build a business and team that they love.

Q1. We know that the most successful and happy people have a morning routine, what do you do each morning or evening that sets your day up for success? I use post-it notes and add them to my planner the night before. In the morning I wake up, have breakfast which is two fried eggs, and have some coffee, have some quiet time, look at my post-it note, and off I go.

Q2. What's your definition of Success? For me personally, it’s being able to support myself, doing what I’m good at, and changing people’s lives on a daily basis.  Also, making sure that I’m treating the person in front of me good is my definition of success.

Q3. What's your definition of Happiness? Something that brings a smile to my face or an enjoyable moment. Adding value to other people’s lives.

Q4. What do you know now that you wish you would have known 10 years ago? I wish I had known that I was smart.

Q5. What do you think is the biggest issue facing busy professionals today? Taking the time to dig deep and to become more self-aware.
