5 Questions Segment

Q1. We know that the most successful and happy people have a morning routine, what do you do each morning or evening that sets your day up for success? I set my alarm in the morning to go off every 8 minutes and every 8 minutes I’m doing something different. I check in with myself, then pray or read the bible, then I have a cup of coffee with my husband. On my way to work, I fill my time with resources that are important to me, podcasts, or a book I want to listen to.

Q2. What's your definition of Success? Success is a process, it’s a mindset growth. Personal and professional growth, it doesn’t have to be all about thriving, it’s also about getting back up.

Q3. What's your definition of Happiness? Happiness is fleeting but joy is deep and meaningful. What makes me happy is when my kids are proud of me. When my husband supports me. When I am inspired and I’m able to be creative.

Q4. What do you know now that you wish you would have known 10 years ago? That the dreams I had as a little girl matter. Self-validation matters, when you can accept yourself and validate yourself and also see what God says about you, that is what I wish I would have known 10 years ago.

Q5. What do you think is the biggest issue facing busy professionals today? I think it’s two-fold.  I think it’s time management and distraction.
